koa

Caribbean Koa is a tropical hardwood originating from the Caribbean Basin. As a close relative of the Hawaiian Koa, is from the Acacia family and very cherished in the USA. It enjoys a similarity to its relative without having a negative impact on the environment.

Designers and architects appreciate the three-dimensional effect given by the grain, similar to the African Sapelli. Interior designers praise the warm, rich texture, depth, contrast and uniqueness of the wood's variation.

Caribbean Koa is suitable for flooring and structural beams. We offer Caribbean Koa as traditional unfinished flooring and also as hand-scraped and hand-beveled flooring.

The prefinished hardwood floor is end matched with a tight micro-beveled edge, and has up to 10 coats of aluminum oxide finish. The unfinished floors come end matched with a square edge and must be finished on site.

Our products are priced and sold per box/bundle. When entering a quantity, please indicate how many boxes you would like to purchase. Pricing and square feet per box are given for each product in the product descriptions below.
