Teak is an extremely hardy wood, which makes it highly suitable for homes with a great deal of indoor-outdoor flow and exposure to the elements.
The galleria collection teak is an engineered hardwood 3 3/4" wide with a 9/16" thickness (4mm wear layer of wood) and a square edge. It is mounted on 8-ply, cross-ply plywood backing. The adhesives used in making galleria collection are phenolic glue which is free from formaldehyde. The grooves on the backside of each board allow for conforming to slight irregularities in the sub-floor area and also act as heat vents where radiant heating is installed. This product can be installed over radiant heating systems.
